Dr Aswin Rajeev is a Geriatric specialist who is passionate in caring elderly patients. He has completed his post graduation in Geriatric Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical sciences Kochi in 2016.
He is well experienced in handling medical as well as psycho social problems in elderly patients.
His areas of interest are geriatric home care, life style diseases management, preventive geriatrics, palliative care and dementia care
Academic Qualifications
Dr Aswin Rajeev has completed his MBBS from Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari (Dr MGR Medical University) and MD in Geriatric Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University). He has also completed a certificate course in Palliative Care (Indian Association of Palliative Care)
Work Experience
He has worked as Faculty at Geriatrics Department Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Kochi (2016-2020) and as Medical specialist at Ex-service men clinic (ECHS) Mavelikara (2021-2023).
He is currently working at Ex-service men clinic (ECHS) Changanacherry and practicing in Senior Citizens clinic Changanacherry.

Our Story
With an idea of a Clinic that provides Comprehensive Geriatric services, we started Senior Citizens Clinic in July 2020.
We had encountered a few setbacks during the starting phase since people were not aware about the Geriatric Medicine specialty which is still in a budding phase in India. With great efforts we established our online presence by hosting a website.
As time passed we got inquiries from people who found us on web, requesting for consultation. Since most of the elderly patients who needed our service were home bound during COVID pandemic time, we developed a Home consultation and palliative care service which aimed to provide Primary level care for patients at their homes.
Our services were well appreciated since we were always available for consultation on a short time notice. We received constructive feedbacks from our clients and improved our service over the time.
We have tried to reduce the number of emergency hospital visits by managing health conditions in their initial stages itself or by referring unstable patients to hospitals at the earliest.
We have provided assistance and support to family/carers of patients for clarifying their doubts and concerns while managing the patient.
At present we are on the path to achieve our goal "To be a One stop Solution for Elder care"

Geriatric physician: You can discuss your health issues with the doctor and receive treatment for your symptoms. Schedule your visit by calling us at least one day in advance to reserve your time slot.
Timing: 4pm to 6pm (Mon- Sat)
Home Health Care Service:
See a geriatrician at your home and get expert opinion on health care. Bedridden or ill patients who find it difficult to commute to the clinic are intended users of this service. We cover areas in and around Changanacherry (daily) and Thiruvalla (once weekly)
Palliative care service: symptom-based treatment for individuals with cancer, dementia, and other terminal illnesses. Aimed to protect the patient's quality of life by having a skilled geriatrician create a personalized care plan.
Online Tele Consultation service: Get doctor's help through Tele medicine. (For Follow up Patients only)
